You may have noticed that recently you are starting to feel sleepy during the daytime. Maybe it’s more stress in your life causing this. It is possible to learn how to overcome tiredness with lifestyle changes.
Your job can suffer, you become anxious, it is harder to concentrate and driving can become dangerous. It is not difficult to modify your lifestyle so you feel more energetic.
It can occur that by eating a big meal we feel tired. When there is food in out stomach we can feel very sluggish and lethargic. Our body will use its energy to digest food; in the process there are less hormones and adrenaline in our bloodstream to stimulate our body and minds. The heavier a meal is the more tired you will become, try eating many light snacks as opposed to three big meals. These should include fresh fruit and vegetables.
So that you do not feel tired at strange times it is important to keep up a good sleep pattern. You should be going to your bed and getting up at the same hour each night and morning. Experts suggest that from six to eight hours is the optimal amount. If you often wake up during the night or have trouble falling asleep when you go to bed then you may need to take an insomnia remedy.
It is common to find people that consume a high level of stimulants from products such as coffee and soft drinks. You may feel that by having a coffee you will overcome your tiredness, but the results will only work in the short term, you are likely to feel even more tired a few hours after having caffeine. It is best to avoid stimulants altogether, and especially so in the evenings.
If you have a healthy body then you are less likely to feel tired. A positive exercise regime will actually provide you with better energy and stamina and also release more adrenaline and endorphins into the bloodstream.
